Show me your work? I’d like to feature photographers here on FlakPhoto Projects.

Email me at hello@flakphoto.com if this sounds interesting.

Yours truly at FlakPhoto HQ

Back in the day I published a daily photography website called FlakPhoto.com — the premise was simple: I featured single images from day to day, each of them contributed from a global community of photographers. For a handful of reasons I stopped publishing that website.

These days, I’m showing photographers on Instagram and having a lot of fun there. But there are real issues with that platform: the algorithm, for one. And, of course, the ads are a drag. Plus, there are constraints with linking out for additional reading which is something I like to do.

Mainly, I want to be able to experiment in a freer environment and Medium seems like a good venue for that for the time being.

One of my New Year’s resolutions is to get back into photoblogging so I’m experimenting with concept ideas here on Medium and collecting my posts on FlakPhoto Projects. It’s a work-in-progress and I’m having fun with it.

My request to you: If you’re interested in showing your work with me I’d love to hear from you. And if you’re developing a new book or video project, let me know. I’m planning to highlight photo community news here from time to time too. Please, write me anytime — Email is hello@flakphoto.com

Looking forward to hearing from you! And if you know someone who would be interested in being a part of this, share this post with them. Thanks — AA
