Flame Token news you’ve all been waiting for
Even though for an outside viewer it might look like the Flame Token project is quiet, we have been hard at work on growing the product and setting everything up for success. We want to use this opportunity to give you an update on what we have been up to and what are we preparing in the near future.
The Flame Token Airdrop was by far the most popular airdrop ever with over 1 million sign-up on our platform, flametoken.io. Three days after the launch of the airdrop we already distributed the 525 million Flame Tokens we wanted to distribute. In order to allow other users to enjoy the benefits of the airdrop, we decided to double up the amount of tokens that we gave away.
Right after the start of the airdrop we started the process to receive regulatory approval from the relevant authorities from Switzerland, where we are incorporated. It took way longer than we had anticipated and we are apologising to our users who are still waiting for the distribution of the tokens. The good news is that we have received very positive initial feedback and we are looking forward to start distributing the tokens.
We started talking to exchanges in order to list Flame Token. At the same time, we are working to build up the systems that will allow users to deposit and withdraw Flame Tokens from Sharesome, following all the KYC and AML procedures required by law. It will take a couple of months at least before we have everything up and ready.
In other good news, we have now more than 600.000 users who signed up for an account on Sharesome. The amount of transactions that happen on Sharesome has grown steadily and we are seeing more and more sexy models joining the platform.
