Teacher grading system
With our latest update Flamingo is introducing a new teacher grading system, to reward our best teachers and provide a better service to learners.
From now on teachers will be separated into one of three grades - Standard, Silver and Gold - depending on their experience and the feedback received from learners.
All teachers will start as a Standard teacher when registering for Flamingo. They will still be able to set their own lesson fee up to 10,000 yen, based on any prior experience they have. Once a teacher has carried out 5 or more lessons through Flamingo and received positive reviews from learners (4 stars or more) they will then be upgraded to Silver. As a Silver teacher they will appear higher up in search results and more importantly earn a lesson bonus of 500 yen on top of the regular lesson fee every time they teach a lesson through Flamingo.
Continue to give great lessons through Flamingo and you’ll then be upgraded to a Gold teacher (0ver 20 lessons given, reviews average of 4.5 stars or more). Gold teachers are the best Flamingo has to offer and will receive a lesson bonus of 1000 yen on top on the regular lesson fee, as well as appearing at the very top of search results in the app. Our Gold teachers are also more likely to be shown as a featured teacher within the app too.
NOTE: Be sure to arrange and carry out all lessons through the Flamingo app so that it counts towards your total, as well as asking your learners to leave a review after a lesson has taken place.
