Position: JavaScript Developer

Location: Riga

Employment: Internship

The JS Developer will be part of our Riga office team, helping to maintain and develop our growing internal IT stack. At Flashpoint we have a wide range of internal products, designed to automate market research and analyst daily workflows.

The internal products you will be exposed to include various API automations, internal research systems and browser extensions. As an intern, you will be assisting in documenting our code, developing prototypes and researching possible new solutions.

Key responsibilities:

• Supporting existing codebase, researching ways to improve
• Working with various API vendors and integrating them into our systems
• Improving internal documentation
• Working with Investment teams to identify new solutions

Candidate requirements:

• 0–2 years of experience in JS development
• Knowledge of core JavaScript and Node.js code patterns
• Understanding SQL (knowing PostgreSQL is a plus)
• Ability to work full time
• Desire to learn and experiment
• Fluent English
