Position: Mid/Junior Software Engineer
Location: Riga / Budapest
Employment: Full-time
The Junior Developer will be part of our IT team, helping to maintain and develop our internal IT stack. At Flashpoint we have a wide range of internal products, designed to automate market research and analyst daily workflows.
The internal products you will be exposed to include various API automation, internal research systems, and browser extensions. As a Junior Developer, you will be participating in the development of existing and future tools, designing solutions, and supporting our production environments.

Key responsibilities:
- Development of internal projects
- Working with various API vendors and integrating them into our systems
- Improving internal documentation
- Working with Investment teams to design new solutions and products
Candidate requirements:
- 0–2 years of experience in JavaScript and NodeJS
- Understanding SQL (knowing PostgreSQL is a plus)
- Possibility to work in our Riga or Budapest offices
- Desire to learn and experiment
- Fluent English
- Experience in FinTech or Banking is a plus
- Experience with ExpressJS or SailsJS is a plus
