One more week is in the books in the land of Flashstake — let’s see what went down.

Last Week in Review

Product Development
Big stuff first, we spent considerable time finalizing details for both our Bootstrap and our Zero Slippage smart contract upgrades, as well as their corresponding updates to the dApp frontend. This work is ongoing, but we are very excited that both of these things are happening as they help make Flashstake run more sustainably into the future.

In addition, Steve and Umar have been hard at work building out our new layer of QA and testing. Each thing we release will go through the new process to ensure a top-notch experience for you, the user.

Speaking of top-notch experiences, Ben implemented multiple updates to the frontend once more. These improvements should help with interaction as well as scalability over time.

Strategy & Marketing
This week’s strategic meeting was about the structural work we need to do to continue building on Flashstake for years to come. While I can’t go into all the details right now, I can say it is highly motivating to see this group of people so very excited to continue building well into the future of Flashstake.

On the marketing side, we had both our weekly content strategy meeting and our weekly growth meeting, where we discussed key growth metrics, such as the tweet below, as well as upcoming content ideas which I won’t spoil, and even Flashstake’s expansion into the vast world of Instagram.

Progress Chart
Over on our hillchart, we saw continued progress in both major development initiatives, Bootstrap and Zero Slippage. We also have a new strategy primed for release very soon, but more info to come on that as the days go on.

Coming Up This Week

  • Zero Slippage development to continue
  • Bootstrap development to continue
  • Weekly breakout sessions
  • Continued strategic discussions
  • Backlog grooming and ranking
  • Continued user interviews
  • Continued QA system improvements
  • Potentially begin work on next Flash Skin

Roadmap Updates

The roadmap has one minor update when compared to last week. With Zero Slippage taking the top spot on the development priority list, we see a shift of Bootstrap into the ‘Soon” category.
