Flashstake Fam, welcome into another week in the life of your favorite dApp.

Last Week in Review

Development/Product

The SNX strategy is ripping. We saw multiple stakes roll in over the week with a lot of positive reviews of the nice APY it is offering!

On the frontend, Ben made some great improvements to the dApp itself, and is well underway with the first skin for the protocol, lovingly termed FLAAVE.

The other major areas we spent serious time on were Bootstrapping and Optimism. The team feels really close to a solution for a sustainable and attractive bootstrapping model, which we hope to finalize this next week. On the Optimism side, Umar has continued his great work on the development of our first OP strategy, built on top of the Beefy protocol.

Strategy & Marketing

Speaking of Beefy, this last week saw continued progress in the discussions and long-term alignment of Flashstake and Beefy finance. Nothing is set in stone here and things are still early, but the interactions with the Beefy team have been very positive and we have a lot of excitement around what could happen if and when our two projects work together.

Elsewhere in our strategic side of the house, we spent time continuing to adapt our messaging and find product-market fit, discussing long-term governance structure, and Dash and I conducted another (very helpful) product demo call.

In our hillchart, you will see the SNX strategy has reached completion and is now fully out in the wild. L2 development is ongoing, and we have seen continued progress in the development of our first Flashstake skin, FLAAVE.

Coming Up This Week

  • Layer 2 Continued Development
  • Weekly breakout sessions
  • Continued strategic discussions, bootstrap modeling, & voting
  • Dapp feature backlog grooming
  • Continued QA improvements
  • One other fun thing…

User Interviews

As usual, if you are reading this and have used the Flashstake Dapp thus far, we want to hear from you. Specifically, I want to hear from you! Please feel free to reach out to me on Twitter or discord and we can set up time to conduct an interview, either in person or over text.

We’ve already had a couple great breakout meetings with early and potential users, which help us continue to learn and refine our process. If you’d like to lend us your brain, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Roadmap

No major updates to our minimalist roadmap at this point, though we are somewhat straddling both the Imminent and Soon categories now.

For more information regarding Flashstake, please check out our website and documentation. Also, consider becoming a member of our community on Discord, and follow us on Twitter!
