Flashstake (and Flaave) for the win, amirite?

Last Week in Review

Development/Product

This last week was a sprint. No doubt about it. With the Flaave skin close to being ready to roll at the start of the week, it was all hands on deck to get that bad boy out the door by Thursday. This included everything from deploying new strategies to the frontend dApp, to the marketing, distribution, and outreach. It was a team effort that led to over 100K of new TVL into the protocol within the first 24 hours of launch.

More than this metric though, we are proud of the traction that Flashstake and Flaave have gained in the broader community. To us, this means we are inching closer to that magical world of product market fit, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the progress so far.

As if that wasn’t enough, we also saw some general UI/UX improvements get implemented, as well as some significant progress toward our first L2 deployment. Never a dull moment eh?

Strategy & Marketing

On the product strategy side, we continued positive interactions and planning regarding Beefy. This goes perfectly alongside our ongoing development toward Optimism. Dash was kind enough to share that we lit up the Beefy discord chat for a good bit last week.

Our other big area of focus, dare I say breakthrough, was in our continued design improvements for the bootstrapping method v2. We think we have settled on the way to make Flashstake an appealing place for bootstrapping capital, which in turn helps jumpstart strategies as we continue to grow and develop. As always, the goal is to do this while remaining sustainable and decentralized while providing appealing yields for new strategies from day 1.

Over on our hillchart, you will see the massive progress that was the Flaave launch, as well as incremental progress in L2 deployment. You will also notice a new bullet for the Bootstrapping model.

Coming Up This Week

  • Layer 2 Continued Development
  • Weekly breakout sessions
  • Continued strategic discussions, bootstrap requirements vetting
  • Backlog prioritization — always
  • Continued user and potential user interviews — as always, please reach out if you’d like to lend us your brain for a half hour!
  • Continued QA improvements
  • Dash on AAVE’s Twitter Space (it already happened, but still bears mentioning!)

Roadmap

No major updates to our minimalist roadmap at this point, we continue to wrap up items in the Imminent category and work on items in the Soon category.
