What do you do at Flat6Labs Bahrain? Organizer of Random Thoughts and Erratic Activity AKA The Managing Director.
How would you like your role at Flat6Labs Bahrain to impact the wider entrepreneurship ecosystem in Bahrain? I intend to set the platform for Flat6Labs Bahrain to become the leading accelerator in the Kingdom.
3 objects that best represent your personality? Football, Tea and anything Android.
If you were CEO for a day — of which company and what would your motto be? Boston Dynamics — Smarter, Faster, Better.
If we lived in a world where anything is possible — nothing is far fetched or crazy — what would your startup idea be? FeedMe — A company that ensures expiring food and/or leftover produce from supermarkets, restaurants and homes are distributed to struggling families.

What do you do at Flat6Labs Bahrain? Manage and form new strategic partnerships, increase our pipeline of VCs and startups both locally and internationally, raising our brand awareness
How would you like your role at Flat6Labs Bahrain to impact the wider entrepreneurship ecosystem in Bahrain? I would like to increase the number of people becoming entrepreneurs and the number of investors in the region by shifting what has traditionally been an apprehensive attitude towards startups to a more positive one through multiple initiatives.

If you were CEO for a day — of which company and what would your motto be? SpaceX — It’s a kebab not a kofta!
If we lived in a world where anything is possible — nothing is far fetched or crazy — what would your startup idea be? Handheld teleportation device, who wouldn’t want to be anywhere in an instant?

What do you do at Flat6Labs Bahrain? I am managing the business cycle’s day to day operations on the ground including training, coaching, mentoring and overall program design.
How would you like your role at Flat6Labs Bahrain to impact the wider entrepreneurship ecosystem in Bahrain? Drive the startups international growth and presence.

If you were CEO for a day — of which company and what would your motto be? Pret a Manger — Eat clean!
If we lived in a world where anything is possible — nothing is far fetched or crazy — what would your startup idea be? A device that transcribes your voice into any written medium.
Anita D’Silva, Office Manager
What do you do at Flat6Labs Bahrain? Organizing and coordinating administration duties and office procedures. My role tries to create and maintain a pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness and communication and also ensure the smooth running of the office and help improve company procedures and day-to-day operation.
How would you like your role at Flat6Labs Bahrain to impact the wider entrepreneurship ecosystem in Bahrain? Implementing latest ergonomics and softwares for most efficient work environments that fosters reliable communication and wellbeing during work hours.
3 objects that best represent your personality? Experimental like a Pencil, functional like a Sparkly Clutch and loud & clear like a Marshall Amp.
If you were CEO for a day — of which company and what would your motto be? I would like to be the CEO of a fashion brand. My motto would be to keep customers happy through my happy employees and exceptional customer service.
If we lived in a world where anything is possible — nothing is far fetched or crazy — what would your startup idea be? Human teleportation services.

Launched in 2018 in partnership with Tamkeen, Flat6Labs Bahrain is an accelerator program aiming to help accelerate the growth of local and international startups in Bahrain and provide a steady pipeline to the rapidly growing Bahraini venture capital industry. Through its expansive and wide-reaching network and numerous partnerships, Flat6Labs Bahrain will also provide entrepreneurs with seed funding, strategic mentorship, office space, a multitude of perks and services from partners, and entrepreneurship-focused business training and development workshops, all engineered to prepare companies to be investment-ready within four months.
