FLETA and NFUP Signed a Contract to Develop a Blockchain Mainnet

FLETA signed a contract with Natural Farm Union Protocol(NFUP), an agricultural blockchain platform based on the 6th industry integrating primary, secondary, and tertiary sectors. According to the contract, FLETA will develop a mainnet of NFUP based on the FLETA chain.

The NFUP ecosystem is a structure in which producers, investors, distributors, and consumers can maximize each other’s utility, creating a virtuous cycle through interaction with each other. A producer can proceed with promising agricultural projects and provide consumers agricultural products (primary industry), processed and manufactured products(secondary industry), and contents such as farm experience course and tour(tertiary industry). In the NFUP system, producers can sell their products and services directly to consumers without a retail margin. Also, they may earn additional income since the agricultural products are not the only goods they sell.

By predicting demand for agricultural products with the pre-purchase survey, the platform aids producers in improving their business stability. Investors invest in producers’ agricultural projects creating a virtuous cycle for investment that maintains the NFUP ecosystem. They can maximize their profit through efficient and stable investments. Consumers can utilize e-commerce based order and payment system and conveniently buy various services and goods of producers. Distributors make a steady profit through delivery, distribution, and sales contracts within the platform. NFUP will open its shopping mall in August based on the ecosystem where the participants interact. Through cooperation with 14 branches nationwide and various corporates, diverse agricultural products throughout the country are provided to the shopping mall. The final goal of NFUP is the development of its ecosystem’s scale from a local level to a global level.

FLETA provides blockchain technology to the integrated agricultural platform of NFUP. Its blockchain technology will be utilized in establishing data, such as farm products’ production and distribution records, agrarian projects’ investment history and investment usage, pre-purchase survey, and production and profit distribution structure.
