Do you like teen comedy movies ? Feel good movies? Here’s one which I watched and enjoyed.
What a girl wants is a 2003 movie directed by Denny Gordon. If you are a fan of Colin Firth, the actor who has played the role of Mr. Darcy in Pride and Prejudice, as Harry in MammaMia, and as Lord Wessex in Shakespeare in Love, lo it’s all the more a must-see movie for you. If you have liked Ann Hathway’s The Princess Diaries, you will like this movie. What a girl wants is a typical american story of a poor but cool, girl who goes in search of her father, a British Aristocrat. The movie is about how she meets him and what happens next. Even though there isn’t much of a surprise in the story, the movie is quite entertaining and watchable. Amanda Bynes as the daughter and Colin Firth as the father make a wonderful father-daughter duo who carry the movie adorably well. The message the movie wants to convey to parents and children is nice.
