Calluses in my hand, I ain’t no stranger to putting the work in! — Tobi
Lone tree in a midst of a barren soil
Deepens its roots
In a search for fertile nutrients,
To preserve its truth
Lone tree fervently digs,
Along the dreary path
Hoping to rekindle its fig
By a faint dip in well’s sustenance
All along, lone tree fails to realize
One simple truth,
That it cannot bear any green
Without its source
I took this picture when I grudgingly surrendered to life. I had reached a point where I no longer wanted to feel the gaping ache in my soul. I then started going after the things that lightened and fulfilled my soul.
The picture was taken — along the Bandera Mountain Trail (North Bend, WA). Grueling hike it was, having to scramble upward for every inch made the summit view worthwhile. It’s the things that we persevere through that ultimately add meaning to our lives.
It’s the experiences we overcome that enable us to cater to others because, deep down, we earnestly wish someone would have been there for us at our lowest.
You can unleash your potential when you make the necessary effort to transform those thoughts into tangible possibilities.
