Stephen Colbert — Hell Has No Fury Like A Comedian Scorned
The comedians stand up
CBS has unleashed a resistance with the firing of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert’s star, Stephen Colbert.
Since the firing of Colbert, the Internet has been on fire with fans supporting this fabulous satirical comic. Celebrities have shown their support and encouraged him. And they are standing in droves against the tyranny of the squelching of this voice on national television.
Tonight on his first hysterical show back after the announcement, Colbert had a few things to say in reply:
“Over the weekend it sunk in, they were killing off our show.” Colbert says sadly. “But they made one mistake…they left me alive.
“And now for the next ten months, the gloves are off, I can finally speak real truth to power and say what I really feel about Donald Trump.” He looks into the close-up camera. “I don’t care for him. He just doesn’t have the skill-set to be president. It’s just not a good fit.”
