As with TrueEarth US Washington and TrueEarth US Oregon, Northern California will be available in two versions: High Definition (HD) and Standard Definition (SD). The only difference between these two products is the resolution of the soil texture. If disk space is a problem, check out the SD version of TrueEarth US NorCal, which offers the same regional coverage, but with only a quarter of the disk space. The slightly reduced texture resolution still provides incredible detail but allows for smoother performance for older graphics card users. If you prefer total fidelity, we recommend the HD version for optimal resolution.
Customers who buy the HD version get the free SD version. Customers who buy the SD version will pay a little less than € 7 for the HD version.
