Aave x Balancer D2D FTW

This Tuesday, our Governance team released the long-awaited Aave x Balancer report, an analysis of a DAO-2-DAO partnership.

Written by Raphael, with data supported by Jessica and Flipside’s growing analyst community, this report is worth the read.

Investing our time directly in forums and voting portals, we’ve noticed the growing potential of DAO to DAO partnerships — most notably Aave and Balancer. Leveraging data analysis, independent research, and networks of contributors — this report tells a story from the front lines of DAO growth.

Give the report a read here: fscrypto.co/dao-to-dao-analysis — and read more about the data behind this report below in our ‘Analysis of the Week’

📰 Governance News of the Week

Aave, Hashflow, Wormhole

Back on Aave, Wormhole, and Hashflow have noticed the agency which lies within “Portals,” a way to connect users and markets across V3.

You may read more about the structure of Portals here: https://governance.aave.com/t/portals-powering-the-multi-blockchain-multiverse/6889 and notice some comments from our contributors!

Wormhole has to lead this charge toward becoming the first portal on Aave and has submitted a request for comments (ARC) in collaboration with Hashflow .

So far prominent delegates such as Aave Chain Initiative (ACI) and Wintermute have signaled support for the proposal, citing revenue and limited minting caps as attractive reasons. Check out the discussion and jump in yourself here:

📊 Analysis of the Week

This past week, Flipside Governance released an in-depth research report titled “Analysis of a DAO to DAO Partnership,” which looked at the budding relationship between AAVE and Balancer.

Harnessing what Flipside does best, this report contains many data-driven insights profiling wallets that hold both $AAVE and $BAL, governance participation on both protocols, and general usage statistics. If you have not already seen the full report, you can access it using this link.

What we bet you didn’t know is that you can now follow along with how the trends discussed in this report evolve over time using this data dashboard.

The dashboard includes all Flipside sourced data insights from the report and refreshes on a 24 hour interval. This daily data record ensures the data used in the report never gets stale, and will help continuously detail the partnership between AAVE and Balancer.
