2016 is off to a flying start. Snow arrived in a big way here in New York, and this month we delivered two of our favorite features: Repeating tasks and live updates.

Float Repeating Tasks

Repeating Tasks

Previously, to duplicate a task, you could hold down Shift and drag it to another day. This feature is great for one-off occasions, or sharing tasks across team members. But for more regular occasions, like a weekly maintenance task, or a monthly Town Hall meeting, this becomes quite, err, repetitive.

Which is why we’ve introduced Repeating tasks. In addition to duplicating tasks, now any task has the option to repeat from the task popup. You can select Weekly or Monthly frequency, and set an End Date. We’ll let you know how many times the task is repeated.

You can also duplicate repeating task sets! Holding Shift, drag a repeating task to another team member, and we’ll copy the set. Power play move.

Live Updates

Earlier this month, we also delivered live updates. If you’re collaborating with your team, there’s no need to refresh your browser, we’ll push the updates to your schedule as they’re happening.

Soon live updates will also be extended to My Schedule.

And if you’re looking for tips on managing your team’s time, check out our CEO’s guest post this month on Creative Bloq: 5 tips for managing your team’s time.

We hope you find these latest features helpful, keep the feedback coming.
