Mavericks: An Unwelcome Gesture (solved)

“I’ll be fine. I think I’ve figured out how to steer by gesturing emphatically.”
- Buffy the Vampire Slayer
The Mac OS X ‘Mavericks’ is pretty great for the most part. Even the notification icon looks like an upside down Float icon. But it does have one annoying gestural feature: The two finger swipe between pages. It conflicts with those trying to scroll horizontally in their Float schedule.
Luckily there’s an easy fix:
- Go to System Preferences
- Select Trackpad
- Got to the More Gestures tab
- Under ‘Swipe between pages’ you can either disable this feature by unchecking the box or change the default gesture from the drop-down.
Update (Oct14): This is now resolved on all accounts!
