Logging in has to be one of the worst things about using different apps, right? While autofill and password managers can make things easier, they’re hardly foolproof. They can also pose a security risk.

To make logging in better, we’re introducing some new features this month to manage Float accounts with multiple teams. Starting today, you can now create and manage multiple Float accounts using a single username.

For example, say you have a team in Austin, a team in Portland, a team covering the east-coast and another in New York — switching between four accounts can be a major burden. Now, you can keep those Float accounts separate, sign in once, and easily switch between the four!

Switch between teams from the global navigation.

When you first login, you’ll be presented with a new page for selecting your preferred account.

To add a new team simply sign up or accept an invite using the same login credentials.

Does your company use single sign-on?

Single sign-on allows you to log in via your company’s identity provider, removing the need to remember your Float credentials. It’s a safe, secure way to log in to multiple apps.

In the upcoming weeks, we’ll begin supporting single sign-on for Float. If you’re interested in learning more or would like to find out if your identity provider is supported, contact us at support@float.com.
