This month we’ve introduced three new features to help make planning and completing tasks even easier. We’ve also rounded up 10 of the top things we’ve learned from our Agency Founders Series interviews.

Mark a Task Complete

With so many different projects being worked on each day, it’s easy to lose track of whether a task is finished or if your team needs more time on it. Marking a task complete makes things crystal clear.

When a task is done being worked on, click the Mark as Complete box within the task popup. The task will turn translucent on the schedule and a check mark will appear next to it to indicate that it’s been completed.

Add a Tentative Task

We’ve also introduced the ability to add a tentative task to the schedule when you need more time to confirm it. To set a task to tentative, click the Mark as Tentative box within the task popup.

Tentative tasks appear as color outlines on the schedule to differentiate them from tasks that have been confirmed.

Tentative, confirmed, and completed tasks can all be viewed individually within your reports.

Label a Task as Non-billable

Last but not least, we’ve added the ability to include non-billable tasks within billable projects. Tasks can be marked as billable or non-billable from the Tasks tab within each project card.

This can be done before or after a task is added to the schedule, and the results are immediately reflected in your reports.
