A rendezvous with the techies at Tech in Asia, 2016

Bangalore is becoming something of a four leaf clover lucky for Team Flock. While half of the team was enjoying a super win at GMASA, the other half was busy networking with the top notch from the tech community at Tech in Asia, Bangalore 2016 at the Manpho Convention Center.

Tech in Asia (TIA), held on the 6th and 7th of July, was special to Team Flock for multiple reasons. We were visiting one of our favorite cities to meet and greet the best tech startups and entrepreneurs. Moreover, we happened to strike conversations with some of our existing clients and partners. It proved to be a great source of motivation for the team to speak to our customers and partners like BHIVE Workspace, Happiest Minds, Blue Stone etc. and hear their positive feedback about Flock. People who remembered us from previous conferences like Surge and Nasscom also dropped by to say Hi.

A two day event, TIA had on its panel, a combination of successful entrepreneurs from India, Japan, Indonesia, China. The team had the opportunity to rub shoulders with an international tech community flying in from various parts of the world, to our very own Silicon Valley.

Flock’s bright green booth stationed right before the stage, along with its exciting giveaways, managed to garner much of the attention in the 1500+ people gathering. The team was at the event with an agenda of creating awareness regarding communication needs at workplaces, and how apps like Flock help address the same.

Flock supports integration with a host of apps, like Trello, JIRA, Github, Twitter, Google Drive, etc. on its very own App Store. With a host of powerful features like one click video calls and actionable polls, to-dos and reminders, Flock was a crowd puller. It was an instant hit with organisations already using complicated alternatives.

The event was followed by a VIP networking dinner organised for select speakers and sponsors, at Taj Vivanta.

With this, Flock concluded an eventful week with some wins in its bag. Always hoping to do better than what is already achieved. :)
