Floe, Platinum Sponsor of Drupal Camp Montréal 2015
Each year, DrupalCamp Montréal brings together all interested developers from the Drupal community in Quebec and surrounding areas. The 2015 edition took place September 12 at McGill University. Over the course of the day, there were 24 presentations, dealing with front- and back-end development, project management and system administration. The previous evening, there also was an open-invitation presentation by Pierrot Péladeau dealing with the difficulties of creating applications to serve social groups and their needs.
In order to give our support to this year’s event, Floe design + technologies was pleased to be a Platinum Sponsor. Participants attended sessions in the Floe Room (specially named for the occasion), not to mention enjoying the
delicious blue raspberry slush available at our booth.
Our team gave three presentations during the day. In the first, Philippe Labat showed how to automate deployments using a site deployment module. Then Trevor Kjorlien presented a beginner’s guide for those who had never touched a CMS. Trevor also organized a group therapy session for front-end developers lost in the plethora of new tools currently available for creating themes. Bear in mind that if you are organizing events having to do with Drupal and similar technologies, Floe is always ready to offer its space. We already host our share of Drupal Montréal meetups.
