Beta 16 comes with a lot of visual improvements including a brand new theme called Christo. It’s a real beauty:
I’ve been using the single column version for a week or so and it’s great. Along with a more typographic visual style, it includes an excerpt of the item’s text so you don’t have to click into the detail view as often.
We also had several requests for new versions of existing themes. They include a two column Dark theme:
And a single column Material:
As the number of themes grows it gets harder to pick one, so we added a new visual theme chooser which should help a lot.
In terms of bugs, there’s a bunch of fixes to widgets and to the weather system. We also fixed a number of rare, but still important, crashes.
