No time to explain. In this series of articles, I do a quick review of websites where we’ll discuss three flowchart aspects such as onboarding, killer features and dark patterns. Today we are going to focus on Fluent. Giddy up!

#1 — Onboarding

The flow presented in the video is slightly different from the current version of Fluent. The major difference is that the app speaks one more language now — Italian, all the rest stays unchanged.

What’s good?

Generally, the onboarding looks like a playground where you can feel the process you are about to pass — very smart, humble but truly stylish copyright. The onboarding procedure resembling Q&A form is a really awesome solution. I was curious to test the application in our Flowmapp blog and it worked well. If I had been learning any of the languages suggested I would have definitely been using this app.

What’s good?

Any downgrade becomes a very important part of the process, same as involving into the product or work with its main features. Chrome allows you to easily remove any installed application, and what I particularly like Fluent for is a questionnaire which appears after you press the “delete” button. In a very professional and smooth way the survey enquiries you what you were displeased with when using the application, and your replies will be used to make necessary corrections and improvements.

What’s good?

This is the best part. Setting up, statistics review and making filters is my meditation. I love the way everything works here: you can adjust the account on your every need from selecting correct and suitable elements to ranging the information.

Outro

All in all I would recommend this userflow to those who are looking for Chrome extensions. And it’s not important which sphere your product is in because Fluent will suggest you many options and useful insights. What I personally learnt from working with this application is that onboarding can be created in any form — a game or a serious procedure. A humble and friendly tone of voice is also a very important, or probably even the most important component of look and feel. Sending my best to Fluent design team and developers, they created an amazing baby.
