January-February status update
Good news, everyone!
After a most productive bootcamp we’ve been working hard to put our ideas on paper and in code. As a result we have:
- the renewed Primer with more detailes on how Fluence fits into the data ecosystem, and of course the token economy, sale and distribution.
- the whitepaper that describes in high level of detail Fluence protocol, economy and the basic principles upon which the network is built.
The prototype will arrive soon and shall be announced in a separate post.
Earlier we have said how we want to grow organically, to preserve the culture and values behind the project. For now we’re managing to stick to this while finding the right people to get the project moving.
Please, welcome Dmitry Shakhtarin
Software engineer with strong expertise in cryptography, functional Scala programming and backend development. Previously he worked on building the end-to-end encrypted and completely anonymous messaging platform.
At Fluence he will apply this experience and help us build a truly safe and protected network.
and Anna Lekanova!
Anna has a background in marketing and business development in the field of Technology Entrepreneurship. Obtains an MBA, she has been collaborating with startups as well as with major brands.
At Fluence she will use her experience and charms to help us build a great community of developers, miners, and partners.
February was quite intence, since we’ve kicked off the marketing campaign to promote the tokensale. Conference roadshow is a significant part of this campaign. So far, so good: Evgeny had visited CryptoDay in Amsterdam and Blockchain Economic Forum in Singapore.
In the upcoming days you can find him at TICA meetup in Berlin (Feb 14), or, in case you’re living on the other side of the Pacific, catch up with Alex at The Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Blockchain Superconference in Dallas (Feb 16–18).
