Introducing Relay: The easiest way to send money to Africa with crypto
About 2 weeks ago, we launched the private beta for Fluidcoins, making it ridiculously easy for businesses to accept crypto payments. While our suite of products has made it ridiculously easy for anyone to accept crypto online, we are trying to take it a step further by allowing anyone — individuals and businesses — to get paid in crypto without a lot of fuzz and get acquainted with our products from day one even before fintechs and other websites go live with our crypto payments solution.
How does this work?
We have built Relay as a subset of one of our most popular products, Payment links. When you create a Relay link, you are asked to provide a few information such as
- Your email ( we use this to send you notifications such as when we receive your crypto deposit, send a payout to your bank account, or if we ever need to contact you per a transaction )
- Bank account information.
- Your name: This is the name we show on the dashboard such as Send Money to Lanre Adelowo
- Fluidcoins Relay will then generate crypto addresses that will be tied to your bank account. Whenever we detect a transaction on any of these addresses, an email will be sent to you informing you of the transaction and the expected amount in your local currency you will receiving in your bank account.
Potential usecases:
- Receiving money from friends and family living abroad.
- Getting paid for your services as a creative or remote worker.
- An alternative to P2P systems in the Nigerian crypto exchange markets.
What cryptocurrencies are supported?
- BUSD ( BSC )
- USDC ( ERC20 )
- USDT ( ERC20 and TRON network )
- BTC/ETH/DOGE/TRON coming soon
Do I need KYC?
