Since Fluid Finance’s inception in 2021, the Geneva based fintech startup has gone from strength to strength. Fluid’s user base and community has expanded rapidly, and they’ve had countless product launches, improving our ability to provide a revolutionary service to our users. Throughout this time we’ve become faster, cheaper, and more convenient as we continually facilitate the seamless bridge between traditional and digital finance that Fluid is known for.

Fluid Finance’s achievements in the blockchain space have not gone unnoticed. Fluid is this year’s winner of the AIBC Summit Mass Adoption Project of the Year Award!

Our CMO, Jessica Walker, with the award.

Walker said “We’re so excited to have had Fluid’s achievements this year recognized by the AIBC Summit; our user base in 73 countries shows a demand for our products offerings. Fluid is a scalable business, built for mass adoption that’s replacing the need for centralized exchanges as well as traditional finance.”

What’s most exciting about this accomplishment is the method in which winners in each category are chosen, solely by the community. Our users have recognized our commitment and achievement within the DeFi space. The strength of our community was put on full display through winning the mass adoption project of the year award over other nominees like META, iMe, The Sandbox, and Illuvium.

This year’s AIBC Summit and subsequent emerging technology award ceremony was hosted in Malta at the Hilton Hotel. The November award ceremony offered premier networking opportunities and an extravagant gala designed to reward industry leaders in emerging technology and celebrate the achievement they have accomplished. The ceremony furthermore shines a spotlight on the most fascinating and innovative projects which are actively enhancing the technology ecosystem and sector as a whole.

Alongside the award ceremony, the AIBC Europe summit also featured three days of panel discussions, keynote speeches, workshops and casual networking events that offer insight on the future of the Web3 economy.

AIBC Europe selecting Malta as a host is significant because the small island nation is one of the first states to regulate cryptocurrency and DLT (distributed ledger technology).

AIBC expanded on the choice to pick Malta to host the AIBC summit:

With the new regulations being premiered first and foremost at AIBC Europe, Malta aims to be a pillar in the technological development of the region by uniting tech-leaders, regulators, investors and entrepreneurs from across the world to discuss, share ideas, make partnerships and build the foundation for the industry of tomorrow.”

Fluid was an excellent candidate for the award: the financial super-app allows users globally to open Fluid Account based on digital cash with only an email address. It is the simplest account ever created, designed for mass adoption. Our goal is to make getting in and out of cryptocurrency easier every step of the way and continue to offer unrivalled user oriented financial services for our clients.
