We’ve been busy around the globe spreading the good word of decentralization in New York, Hong Kong, Singapore and Paris. Since our last update, we’ve welcomed five new team members, introduced the AirSwap Marketplace, and announced the Fluidity Summit.

Oved and Maggie just completed an Asia tour, speaking and taking meetings in Hong Kong and Singapore.
Along the way we spoke at IMMUTABLE Blockchain Summit, TOKEN2049, and a DigixGlobal-hosted event with Golem, Gnosis and MakerDAO.
At the Ethereum Community Conference in Paris, Don gave a technical talk on “Building a Global Marketplace”, discussing the types of liquidity and trading systems for success.
Back in NYC, Don also sat on a panel at Battle of the Cryptos and Stamford spoke at the Proof of Work vs. Proof of Stake debate hosted by Crypto NYC. Finally, we hosted a happy hour for Crypto Working Group at our office.
Oved, Maggie and Stamford presented at Citigroup during a Lunch and Learn. We discussed reimagining the token economy and how AirSwap enables secure token trading on a global network.
To round out the excitement, Maggie sat down with folks from Vice, Civil, and NYCEDC to discuss Blockchain of the Future at the eBay offices.
AirSwap happenings and announcements
Marketplace Beta
On March 16, we introduced the AirSwap Marketplace, which is now in private beta. Our testing group is hard at work helping us prepare for public release. We also demoed our Marketplace in SwapChat #4 and discussed the changes we’ve made based on feedback from the testing group.
Fluidity Summit
On March 22 we announced Fluidity Summit where we will meet to envision the future of finance. On May 10, we’re bringing together thought leaders Mike Novogratz, Joe Lubin, Nouriel Roubini, Ryan Selkis, Laura Shin, and Bill Tai and great minds from throughout the community and ecosystem.
Designed by George B. Post, the architect responsible for the NYSE, the Fluidity Summit will take place inside of Brooklyn’s historical bank landmark, The Weylin. Known as “the bank of the people,” this space represents the past and now the future of finance.

Operations
Natalia is the former Executive Assistant to the CEO of Artsy, where she supported the company’s growth from 70 to over 200 employees. She is also a Registered Nurse, yoga instructor, and entrepreneur. Natalia currently leads Office Operations and Event Production, and oversees company culture and wellness at AirSwap.
Maxime Bucaille
Analyst
Maxime was a G10 Foreign Exchange trader in the Capital Markets Group of BNP Paribas in New York. Originally from France, he is a graduate of McGill University in Montreal where he specialized in Economics, Statistics and Computer Science.
