Bill Tai aka “KiteVC” joins AirSwap as an Advisory Board Member
Bill Tai, a veteran venture capitalist and entrepreneur, is joining the AirSwap team as an Advisory Board Member.
Bill has invested in 110 start-ups of which 19 went public and 20 were acquired. He is the Head of the Strategy Committee and is a lead investor & board director of BitFury, the world’s largest bitcoin blockchain company.
His experience at the forefront of many technological revolutions in Silicon Valley will be instrumental to AirSwap. He will advise AirSwap on many affairs including establishing strategic relationships with members in the wider technology community. His knowledge will help prepare AirSwap for long term and sustained success.

His nickname, KiteVC, comes from his well-known passion of Kiteboarding. Tai Co-Founded MaiTai Global with Susi Mai, a series of events of like-minded people who come together to push the limits of work and play. The events feature a combination of kiteboarding and tech in destinations around the world
Bill has advised a number of companies to reach successful exits, and we are confident his guidance will be an asset to AirSwap.
