Introducing the AirSwap Marketplace
AirSwap is a global token marketplace powered by search, now in private beta on the Rinkeby test network. This release is in its minimum form, letting you search, select, and trade Ethereum tokens.

Exchange was decentralized with the advent of blockchain as peer-to-peer electronic cash. We built AirSwap for this decentralized future, embracing the nature of blockchain as a distributed system. Trade has already been decentralized—and AirSwap plays directly to its strengths.
A marketplace powered by search
As millions of assets come online, it’s difficult to know where they are and what’s available for trade. Blockchain today is where the web was before search. We’re fixing that.
Holders of the AirSwap Token have the power to announce their intent to make or take markets, making them discoverable by other peers distributed around the world. For you, using AirSwap is simply a matter of search, select, and trade.
You remain in control of your assets and trades are settled directly between peers, without a third party or middleman. As more makers join the system, more tokens become available, and market coverage widens. When we announced the details of our Partner Network, we included the news that three market makers would be providing liquidity to twenty-four new markets. This illustrates how these markets are maker-driven—only an open system like AirSwap can scale as quickly as the phenomenon of tokenization.
Token Trader and Marketplace
We’re running a private beta on Rinkeby to ensure any issues are ironed out, everything is up to specification, and the participants in the system are trading smoothly. Once out of beta, we’ll be ready to scale. In the meantime, the Token Trader is still live and making trades, and we’re still working hard on what’s next.
