As part of the mission to reach as many devices possible — including iOS, Android, Windows, Linux, macOS, and web — with a single codebase, the Flutter team has announced support for Desktop Applications. This means that developers can now express their creativity and build applications for Windows, macOS and Linux even though this feature is still in alpha.

We have seen some adventurous developers from Africa create some Flutter Desktop Apps and have collected some of them here to keep you inspired 😀 These devs have kindly shared their code on Github, paid attention to the look and feel of the app, and also created some useful functionality.

We’ll be sharing more Flutter Desktop Apps in the future, so be sure to follow us for the latest updates. Also, if you have any Flutter apps feel free to tag us on Twitter so that we can feature your work. Have a look at these guidelines for creating an article that you would like us to add to our publication. Please leave some claps on this article if you enjoyed it and share it to spread awareness about Flutter and the awesome work that is being done in Africa.
