After carefully monitoring with NodeReal about the testnet upgrade we conducted last week, we are happy to inform you that we are finally ready to begin our journey to Mainnet 2.0.
The mainnet upgrade is scheduled to be operational and active at block height 4,520,510 and the upgrade will cover the following.

■ Upgrade details
1. Tokenomics
This upgrade is to limit further minting of the FNCY coin starting from mainnet official launch block height 1,785,712 to 201,785,712 block height resulting in a total minted amount to max 1 billion during the chain lifespan.
201,785,711 block will be the last block to mint 5 FNCY coin.
Also, this upgrade will be able to change the gas fee through governance according to the coin market price to better service the users.
2. Governance
We will perform an automated distribution upgrade to ensure that minted FNCY amount are distributed according to the tokenomics we disclosed in the whitepaper. Through this upgrade, the quantity of 5 minted per block will be automatically distributed according to the pre-planned token economy, and the transaction gas fee will be sent to the foundation wallet.
3. Contract Size
This upgrade will expand the contract size of the chain. Contract size limit will be upgraded from 24k to 48k. This will allow FNCY chain to deploy more complicated smart contract, boosting the ecosystem.
In addition, the update on FNCY Explorer was done as well. More intuitive interface and new features is now available in FNCYScan.
