As of 2021, over 47 million Americans struggle with mental illness.

Mental illness has a broad spectrum of disorders, including; eating disorders, depression, anxiety, PTSD, and borderline personality disorder among many others.

Getting help and support for a mental illness can be difficult and overwhelming. The following information contains the best mental health clinics in Fort Collins and the easiest ways to make your first appointment.

LifeStance Health offers support to all ages in many different ways. They offer in-person sessions, group counseling, and virtual appointments so that they’re able to create a safe space where you can get help.

This clinic focuses on Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), a 20 minute noninvasive procedure that sends magnetic waves to the brain. This stimulates the nerve cells in the brain and can improve symptoms of depression.

I rated the Colorado Women’s Center lower than the others because it’s only for women.

Eating Disorders

Eating disorders have the highest rate of mortality of any mental illness. According to the South Carolina Department of Mental Health, 8 million Americans struggle with an eating disorder.
