Imagine walking down the street of Fort Collins, Colorado, and the sweet smell of cinnamon is in the air. What would you think of? Christmas? Cinnamon Toast Crunch? The first thing that pops in my head is Mary’s Mountain Cookies — MMC for short. From cookie sandwiches to edible cookie dough, MMC sells the best collection of cookies in Northern Colorado. To get a true taste for the variety of flavors, the following 5 cookies are the ones you must try!

  1. The Charlie Brown

If you’re going in for a single cookie, the Charlie Brown is my go-to. This moist decadent peanut butter cookie is dipped in milk chocolate to give the perfect balance between the sweet chocolate and salty peanut butter. With only half of the cookie dipped in chocolate, you get a taste of straight peanut butter as well as the mix of both flavors.

2. Snickerdoodle Cookies

If you’re missing Christmas time or are in the need of some holiday cheer, the Snickerdoodle cookie is the way to go! The mixture of cinnamon and sugar on top of the cinnamon-flavored cookie ads extra texture to create a crunch on the outside with a soft, fluffy inside.

3. Chocolate Chip

A classic flavor! The chocolate chip cookie is moist and at the end of the day, you can never go wrong with chocolate. According to Jenny Cyr, a frequent customer of Mary’s, “the best way to eat a chocolate chip cookie from Mary’s is to microwave it for 15 seconds and dip it in milk,” she claims. “The warm chocolate with the cold milk, can’t get any better than that!”

4. Sugar Cookie Cutout

For any and every holiday, MMC will release cookie cutouts in any shape in their frosted sugar cookie flavor! Since Valentine’s Day is only 4 days away, their theme this time of year is hearts and love. However, they also make pumpkins, eggs, trees, and so many more!

5. Monster Cookie

The last one on my list is the Monster Cookie. This cookie has a combination of peanut butter, oatmeal, M&Ms, and chocolate chips. The texture given by the oatmeal and then saltiness of the peanut butter are the perfect contrast to the sweet and milkiness given by the M&Ms and chocolate chips! This is another cookie that’s great with milk!

If you find yourself looking for a cookie, try Mary’s Mountain Cookie.
