How to set up Foggie Mobile over your phone?

To share your data on Web3, you need to go through three steps:

Prerequisite with DMC wallet;
Sign in through MetaMask wallet;
upload & share files.

In addition to the above procedure, there are two bonuses on Foggie Mobile: earn $DMC daily and mint your NFTs.

Here is the step-by-step user guide:

Step One: Prerequisite with DMC Wallet

To access Foggie Mobile, you need to download the DMC (VOFO) Wallet and MetaMask Wallet from the App Store and ensure that you keep your private key secure. Here are the purposes for both wallets:

DMC Wallet as payment for storage. It transfers $DMC tokens to your Foggie Mobile account to get a bucket.

Note: A bucket serves as a secure online storage solution, functioning similarly to a virtual drive, enabling users to organize, access, and share various digital assets efficiently and effectively.

Step Two: Sign up with the MetaMask Wallet

MetaMask Wallet is for registering, navigating the Foggie Mobile app with a built-in browser, and minting NFTs on the Polygon network.

On MetaMask Wallet, please click on the built-in browser and then type m.fogworks.io on the browser, and then the Foggie Mobile sign-in page shows up.

2. Get a bucket. Go to the homepage and tap the “Bucket” button. You can select the standard 100GB package for 24 weeks.

3. Receive a free Foggie Mobile bucket through the “Recharge” process. Recharge is to fund the Foggie Mobile account with the amount of $DMC that a bucket purchase is required. Please follow two steps to finish the recharge:

⓵ DMC Wallet -> recharge $DMC to your Foggie Mobile Account.

⓶ Foggie Mobile Account -> Pay $DMC to purchase a Bucket

It’s crucial to ensure the accuracy of both the recipient’s address and the memo provided.

Once the recharge is complete, proceed to make the purchase. This finalizes your bucket purchase, granting you access to your Web3 storage space.

Step Three: Upload and Share files

Upload File: Tap the “Bucket” button located at the bottom to enter the list, then select the Bucket you’d like to upload the file to. Click the “+” sign to initiate file upload operations.

⓵ Get MetaMask Wallet ready and add the Polygon Network: tap “Add Network” and select “ Polygon Mainnet” to add.

⓶ Deploy Contract: Enter dapp.fogworks.io in the Metamask built-in browser to access the contract deployment page. Click on “Mint New,” and choose to upload new files or select files from a previously created bucket for contract deployment.

Select the file you want to deploy and then click the “…” button next to it. In the menu that appears, click on the “NFT” option to initiate the contract deployment process.

To improve minting efficiency and success rates, opt for a higher gas fee “Aggressive Gas” strategy. Navigate to “Gas” to adjust your settings.

Choose the “Aggressive” Gas mode, confirm your settings, and await the completion of the on-chain interaction to finalize the deployment.

⓷Check your NFT on Opensea: Completing MetaMask wallet sign-in on https://opensea.io, which allows you to view the list of minted NFTs. Simply navigate to your profile, click on “More,” and then select “Hidden” to access your list of minted NFTs.
