I need to drop the moniker ‘Author of 13 Poetry Collections’.
It is like a counter I go to reset after every new publication. I even found myself disappointed sometimes for not updating it on all the necessary profiles and pages.
I mean, “How dare I not update it from 12 to 13 poetry collections? This is unacceptable. The people must know!” — 🙄
From now on, I think ‘Author’ would suffice.
10 of the 13 books are free. The sweat and time have been put in. The work is there.
