13 is not the one

She is the 13th woman

on the 12th consecutive night,

Waiting on her 11th floor,

Using her 10th key,

To the 9th avenue,

on the 8th street

of New York 10007,

Right off the 6th lane,

5th house,

4 steps on the corner,

Towards the 3rd pastry shop,

Beside the 2nd light post,

Feeding off the recurring memory

of my first night with you

I have zero desires left in me.

Poems on love, life & loss.
