You know you are lazy to train but you will do it anyway, even though you feel that somethings wrong with that and it bothers your mind for a little while.

The impulsive part of you is saying that you don’t need to train because you want to do something else (more important than training).

You need something when you don’t have it at all. But if you want something, you probably already have it and you want more.

So, you might think that you don’t really need to have a training because you already have some skills. Now, you just want to have a bit more. This is fine if you just want to play football as a hobby. All good. But as a professional you need to have a training because that’s the act of professionalism. Being a professional footballer doesn’t mean that a player has to sign a professional contract with any professional club. Being a professional footballer is about the act of being consistent when you don’t feel the desire to train, giving your best effort during a game even though you feel lazy to play, and your action to make a positive impact for the team even though it doesn’t always work so you need to try again and again.

You don’t need to sign any contract with any professional team to become a professional footballer. Being called a “professional footballer” is just a status to describe someone profession, but behaving in a professional manner is much more important for whatever you do in life.
