If you are like me and coffee is your go-to drink for all occasions be it for meeting a friend, studying for an exam, or even just to get up in the morning feeling alert and energized, then you would love to know how beneficial it is for you.

YOUR WEIGHTLOSS POTION:

Can my favorite drink help me lose weight? Yes, it can but you would probably need to bring about some modifications.

The best choice of coffee for this purpose would be black coffee since it is a calorie-free drink that boosts metabolism making it easier for you to burn fat. If you drink black coffee before your workout, you will be able to burn more calories.

If you are not used to drinking black coffee then it can be a difficult decision for you. You could, however, try lowering the amount of sugar in your coffee gradually until you can drink it without any artificial sweetener.

POWERHOUSE OF ANTIOXIDANTS:

Antioxidants are extremely important as they protect the body from the effects of free radicals. Free radicals do have important functions in our body but their excess can contribute to conditions like cancer, heart disease, high blood pressure, and diabetes. Caffeine in our coffee being a rich source of antioxidants protects us from all of these diseases.

Another reason to love your brown creamy brew is that it is your solution to a longer, healthy life as, it reduces the chances of cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, kidney diseases, and lower respiratory diseases.

There is a reason we coffee lovers can’t give up our morning coffee. The impact of a cup or two of coffee on our mood, vigilance, learning, and reaction time makes it the perfect morning drink to start our day.

As for its long-term benefits; there is research supporting the idea that coffee protects against neurodegenerative diseases like Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s.

FUEL YOUR DAY:

Coffee can be used as an ultimate productivity hack. Morning laziness, trying to stay awake preparing for an exam, or trying to meet your work deadline- you can rely on coffee to give you that extra push you need.

DEFENCE AGAINST DIABETES:

Coffee can also be consumed as a precautionary measure against diabetes. While it isn’t helpful for those who already have diabetes it does lower your chances of being affected by it.

The way it works is that it has anti-inflammatory properties, and insulin resistance which happens when you are diabetic due to inflammation. So, coffee helps prevent insulin resistance by working against inflammation.
