Joining the Party!
Two’s a company, three’s crowd but seven’s a party! 🎉

Join me in welcoming Vishesh to the party! He is the first truly lockdown hire. We interviewed him over multiple zoom calls and fast-forward to now, he is burning the midnight oil with us!
Currently he works from his hometown, Lucknow. Apart from pushing code to production, he is keeping company with the mysterious boxes, braving the locusts’ wrath and confronting the monkeys ruining the internet wiring.
Let’s hear it from Vishesh:
A little about you
I am a sports freak who transitioned into tech due to some career choices I made. Hailing from Lucknow and having lived in almost half a dozen cities has given me a zeal to travel.
Why did you join folly systems?
Having already been in startup environment, I understand what it takes to excel in such a position. Also, the satisfaction of you building something with major contribution that can solve problems and you can see it making a difference, it’s a different satisfaction altogether. Also, in our initial conversation with Nishith and Deepa, I loved the clarity of product and direction, which painted a picture of exactly where we are headed.
What are you most passionate about?
Badminton and Coding. Those are absolutely the 2 things that can make me go out of way. Sports in general is something that is my adrenaline.
What is the craziest thing that you have done?
This list could be very long, but the best one would be when I flew down from Mumbai to Delhi to attend a cousin’s wedding. Immediately realised, it will be difficult since I came under parental pressure. I met my parents first, called a friend and went on a 3-day car trip to Uttarakhand. I still think this was the right decision.
What is the best thing about working from home?
I am having major ease in terms of food and not having to do household chores, which I would be be doing otherwise. Also, it’s been around a decade since I have spent more than 2 weeks at home, so that is an absolute treat.
What is the first thing you will do after things are back to normal?
Probably just roam around aimlessly, go for drives, watch a couple of movies in theatre and enjoy KFC.
Tea, coffee or beer?
I am still a milk person, so I will go with Bournvita (nothing beats it).
Welcome aboard, Vishesh!
