We are growing…
Please join me in welcoming Rucha Joshi, our first core founding team member. Yay!
Rucha joins us as a User Experience Designer. Just in her first week and she is already helping us make great progress on user research and wireframing solutions for metafolly.
Here’s Rucha in her own words..
A little about you…
I am a participative designer, and UX researcher. Interested in social innovation, public policy design, and technology. I believe that multidisciplinary collaboration and understanding people is the key to creating better services and products. I am trying to reflect how ideas, that enhance people’s lives can be implemented.
Why did you join folly systems?
I love the values of human centricity and curiosity with which Deepa and Nishith are building Folly Systems. The aspect of working on a tool that enhances collaboration (from scratch!) was very exciting.
What is the craziest thing you have done?
One of the craziest thing I’ve done of late was travelling from North Germany to Southern France in a van. Had the wildest time, camping, cooking and driving through wilderness.
What’s your favourite book? Or the book that has inspired you the most?
Sapiens by Yuval Harari and India after Gandhi by Ram Guha are my recent favourites. They are thoroughly insightful and a pleasure to read.
What’s on your desk?
My desk is generally clutter free. I keep tons of stationery and a few books and sketchpads. Plants and small toys make occasional appearances.
Tea, coffee or beer?
Filter coffee!
Welcome to the team, Rucha!
