Tyson Fury is one of the world's most loved sports personalities and an iconic athlete, It brings us great pleasure to announce the world lineal heavyweight champion Tyson Fury’s first foray into NFTs in partnership with Fomo Labs!!
Fomo Labs will be collaborating with team Fury and world-renowned artist, George Rollo. This will see a release of premium collections of NFTs including playing cards and memorabilia.
As quoted by Forbes’ Fury’s impressive boxing career has taken many turns. His major milestone which really brought him to an international audience was his masterclass performance against the then heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko in November 2015.
Klitschko had been the reigning champion for 10 years and many had written off Fury. After achieving so much so young and having a desire to achieve more which couldn’t be fulfilled at the time in addition to a less than fair reception from the British media the years that followed this landmark victory saw Fury have very public battles with depression and drug addiction’.
Rollo, the artist putting together the creation has a unique style that combines culturally relevant themes along with popular culture. He has worked with the likes of Drake and 50 Cent as well as producing a number of high-end bespoke pieces. As grateful as Rollo is for the opportunities he has had so far, the opportunity to combine blockchain technology to create NFTs and collaborate with Tyson Fury is the “highlight of my career” he says.
