Font Awesome 5.2 — 372 New Icons!
We ought to file that under “Educational” too, oughtn’t we?
Font Awesome 5.2.0 just dropped, and we’ve added or updated 372 icons across 4 major categories (and a few new brand icons as well). Oh, and 50 of those icons were added to Font Awesome Free, so everyone wins!
Kickstarter Updates
For our Kickstarter backers keeping track, we’ve now finished 15 out of the stretch goal total of 52 packs.

New Automotive Category (with that new car smell)
We’ve added 105 new and updated Automotive icons. That’s 35 unique icons across our 3 styles — Solid, Regular, and Light to fill up your gas tanks with.
Medical Vol 2
During rounds, the icon doctors all agreed and prescribed 66 new and updated Medical icons to Font Awesome. That’s 22 unique icons across our 3 styles — Solid, Regular, and Light.
Education
School’s out for summer, but that didn’t stop us. We’ve added 81 new and updated Education icons. That’s 27 unique icons across our 3 styles — Solid, Regular, and Light.
Maps Vol 2
We’ve added 126 new and updated Maps icons. That’s 42 unique icons across our 3 styles — Solid, Regular, and Light for you add to your customized Google Maps UI or travel app.
Brands
We’ve also added the top 6 most requested icons from the icon leaderboard.
