We are looking forward to hosting in-person meetings again soon

The entire Fontinalis team is proud to announce Fontinalis III, a $104 million early-stage fund to back the next generation of entrepreneurs shaping efficient movement of all forms.

Since Fontinalis was launched in 2009, we have consistently looked to the horizon — not for what mobility is now, but with an open mind for what it could be. Yes, we consider ourselves a mobility fund focused on enabling efficient movement; but to do this most effectively, it also means that we are B2B SaaS investors, climate tech investors, fintech investors, consumer mobile investors, and deep tech investors (just to name a few).

We have a broad aperture — touching both “obvious” mobility companies directly impacting efficient movement, as well as enabling technologies that may be less obviously mobility companies on their surface but which we see as foundational pieces for advancing mobility going forward. As new ecosystems, new platforms, and new waves of technology are thrust onto the world through the dogged effort of entrepreneurs, Fontinalis wants to be there to help shape that future. Staying on the frontier of mobility means that we are, by necessity, flexible.

We are thankful to our 30+ LPs that span institutional investors, multiple automakers and suppliers, global insurance leaders, and family offices with deep ties in mobility and related industries, all of which are onboard to support our companies as they scale.

Most of all, we want to thank the family of Fontinalis founders who have willed their startups into existence, and in the process are making an indelible mark by improving the world around us.

In Fontinalis III, we will continue investing flexibly and opportunistically in early-stage companies spanning seed, Series A, and Series B. We want to partner with the absolute best companies out there that have the potential to shape the world’s movement for decades to come. If you are an audacious founder looking to build a singular and lasting company, we would love to meet you!
