World-renowned chef and youtube legend Gordon Ramsay built a restaurant empire that spans the globe. Notorious for snapping at people, Gordon is one of the best chefs in the world. From tv shows like Hell’s kitchen to Kitchen Nightmares, Gordon has always been a classic culinary clown on the internet. His style of coaching is very unique but at the end of the day, he guides chefs to the next level.

Gordon just loves the word f**k, especially when talking to his cooking students. His sense of intimidation in the kitchen allows him to set the precedence that he only is satisfied with excellence. He digs into the skin of his rising chefs so they know how to handle the behind the scenes pressure in the kitchen. Gordon knows from years of experience that cooking requires a lot of talent, such as multi-tasking and creativity. He makes sure that his chefs are exceeding all aspects before they are gifted the winning aprons. The jaw-dropping attitude he brings to the room teaches chefs what the Michelin star world is really like.

His sarcastic tone provides a serious but fun cooking environment. All of his competitors contend that their culinary skills we’re sharped because of Gordon’s style of teaching. From his show Kitchen Nightmares, we can see those ignorant restaurant owners will never admit doing anything wrong till Gordon flames them. Most owners have a reality check and come to terms that they are doing something wrong. But for Amy’s Baking Company that isn’t the case. Amy is completely against the terms that she and her husband are bad at everything they do. From stealing tips from the servers to burnt pizza, they just don’t comprehend that it isn’t the worker’s fault their business is failing. This may have been Gordons most difficult episode because how stubborn these people are. It took countless hours of yelling in their face to finally break them to internalize the problem. On the other hand, Gordon liked the cake which is extremely rare for him to like anything.

Since a young age, Gordon has had a robust palet. He was taught by some of the best out there like Albert Roux at Le Gavroch and Joel Robuchon. A lot of Gordons dishes are inspired by his mentors. Gordon is doing the same by mentoring thousands of chefs all around the world by his popularity on the internet. His first big step into the culinary world was arguably in 1993 when he became the head chef of Aubergine in London. It took a couple of years of girt and dedication for him to earn a two-star Michelin review. 1995 rolled around and Ramsay was awarded “Newcomer of the year”. It was only the start.

The platform that Gordon has is capable of shaping the lives of thousands of junior chefs around the globe. Cooking is an extremely underrated profession and skill. The immense amount of stress it can cause means you’ll have to learn how to adjust. If you mess up one time, try again, and keep trying until you achieve your goals. Cooking not only teaches us determination, but it also helps us connect together as humans. Each region around the world has food specific to their culture and diving into those different types of cultures is extremely important. Food is a tangible door into new worlds.

Entering the door to the culinary world many chefs are generalized to be fat, but that isn’t the care for him. Growing up Gordon was a star soccer player who was extremely fit. Until a career-ending injury that led him to his culinary success. Many argue that it was the motivational push for Gordon to pursue cooking. Even to this day he still maintains his fitness, by running marathons, lifting, and even running around the kitchen. That aspect of fitness and personal health has influenced Ramsay’s cooking substantially. Gordon emphasizes a healthy balance of food in his one on one cooking tutorials. Cooking can easily get buttery real quick, but with a mix of fresh greens it’ll balance all out. Gordon Ramsay can make any vegetable taste good.

Though there are a lot of great aspects about Gordon Ramsay, there are also many reasons why someone wouldn’t like him. He’s even said that “There are times I’ve felt I’ve gone too far”. There are times where you really do question if that crossed the line. Even tho it may all be just an act, it represents anger as some holy emotion for success. We all have that loud and obnoxious friend.

However, is that enough to ignore all the prestigious awards he’s accumulated? The stats don’t lie, Gordon is pretty damn good at cooking. He’s shaped a new generation of young chefs just by the internet. It’s hard to watch his videos without bursting into laughter or maybe disgust. He’s softened up his appearance on the internet by airing MasterChef Junior to gain back those parents that we’re tired of their kids watching him curse. Gordon might be realizing that he’s a little too heated…

No matter the occasion Gordon has some type of 101 beginner’s guide on how to cook. He’s helped spice things up around the kitchen while keeping it simple. His blunt tone allows for a recipe of success. His recent trip down to Kansas City recently wasn’t the first time, but actually Kc’s “second chance”. The Second time is always the charm.

In all, it makes reasonable sense to proclaim Gordon Ramsay as the greatest chef to live. He has the fan base to support it, along with the accolades to prove it. Just like the fact that flags can be good or bad, so can food. It just takes a refined palate to make the framework for it; like Gordons. The rat from Ratatouille couldn’t even out cook him.
