Even in a rigged economy, CEO pay at Ralphs-Kroger Co. is extreme.

“It’s hard to make money.”

That’s what the CEO of Ralphs-Kroger Co., told the Wall Street Journal Food Forum. That same year he made nearly $10 million in personal compensation — more than 547 times his average grocery worker.

So what does he know about how hard it is to get by in today’s economy?

As Ralphs-Kroger Co. workers, many are forced to work 2 or 3 jobs just to pay rent or put food on the table. Meanwhile, Ralphs-Kroger Co. is making record profits.

It’s time for a fresh start. Share our campaign on social now and help us reach 3,000 food fighters in time for our site launch later this month. We’re almost at 1,000 people in just a few days.

We’re bringing workers and shoppers together to demand better from Ralphs-Kroger Co. and ALL grocery stores. Let’s get our workers fair wages and fair hours so that they can focus on one job: making the shopping experience a positive one at every store, every time.

So, if somebody asks you — “What the heck is Food Fight?” — tell them it’s a fight for you, me, and our neighborhood grocery stores. It’s also a fight for what’s fair.

We’re so excited to share some great stuff in the coming weeks, like our official logo and the launch date of our website. This will be a one-stop hub for you to learn breaking news about how contract negotiations are going so you don’t miss a thing.

For now, let’s keep spreading the word. Share the petition:
