Just last year, Ralphs-Kroger Co. made record profits: nearly $3 billion. The year before that, it handed $30 million to its 5 top executives.

That’s a whole lot of money from a company that continues to cut workers’ hours and wages. They talk about having values? If the only thing they care about is the bottom line, let’s prove that we can hurt them where it matters most.

Contract negotiations start back up today, so we need as many people as possible to step up to show Ralphs-Kroger Co. we’re not backing down. If you haven’t yet, ask your friends and family to submit their weekly grocery receipt:

Shoppers shouldn’t be receiving lackluster service because stores are short-staffed. Workers shouldn’t be working multiple jobs just to make ends meet. And Ralphs-Kroger Co. and its executives shouldn’t be reaping all the benefits of our hard work.

Here’s OUR bottom line: we won’t stop until workers are paid a living wage and shoppers have a better shopping experience.

Thanks for stepping up.

It’s on,
