Illinois managers must follow extra steps to hold a valid manager certification.

In order to get the Food Service Sanitation Manager Certificate from the State of Illinois, examinees must submit a copy of their ANSI-approved certificate and a $35 fee. That process was previously done by mail, is now an online only process.

The specific steps in the process can be downloaded here.
