Footium Community Fund
Following our recent auction, our community fund is now open to applicants who want to apply for a grant for various initiatives e.g. data websites, Footium fantasy football, and broadcasting shows!
What is the community fund?
The Footium Community Fund is something that we have been inspired to create after seeing numerous community-led initiatives pop up surrounding Footium before the game has been released. We want to remove any barriers that would prevent these community projects from achieving their full potential!
We have seen many projects being created already, from metaverse broadcasting studios to data-driven websites, which makes us excited for the future of community projects when Footium gets released. There have been discussions in the community about creating a fantasy football league for Footium when the game releases (Wen Ron Foreman price reveal?) and even head-to-head leagues outside of the main game. We can’t wait to see what our amazing community will continue to create surrounding Footium!
Prior to the game launching, we will also release a Footium API to enable more possibilities for community projects. We have already released the Footium Club metadata, which can be found here: https://footium.club/ethereum/api/nfts/clubs/1
How can I apply for a grant?
To apply for the grant all you have to do is fill in this form which will be reviewed by the Footium team. We will be in touch with you on Discord or by email after you have sent your application! If you have any questions about the grant application feel free to reach out to me or any of the team on Discord. We can’t wait to see what is going to get built!
We plan to auction off three more Division 4 club’s in the coming weeks so make sure to keep your eye out for that if you are interested in purchasing a club higher up on the ladder.
First Grant — Metaverse Studios
We are excited to announce that following a successful application, our first community grant has been given out to Metaverse Studios, who have received $3,500 to continue building out their immersive Footium show experience!
We have been strong supporters of Metaverse Studios since they came to us with their idea back in November and we are excited to be able to help them continue building their vision for a ‘Match of the Day’ chat show covering the world of Footium!
They have been filming their first show recently which will be coming soon and with plans to have live streaming capabilities in the studio following the grant the possibilities are endless! Make sure to drop them a follow on Twitter to keep up to date with what they have planned.
Second Grant — Footium Podcast
We were really excited to recently accept Mozza’s community fund application to create a Footium podcast.
Mozza is a staple of the Footium community and the Pen City owner has also been dubbed ‘The Footium YouTuber’ with his helpful and insightful videos helping newcomers when they are wanting to learn more about the game. We can’t wait until that first podcast goes live!

Third Grant — JGweb3 Footium Pitchside
We were really excited to recently accept JGWeb3's community fund application to continue being the brilliant host of Footium Pitchside.
John has been bringing some brilliant content to the community for a number of months now through his Twitter Spaces covering Footium. John has got numerous members of the community on to give their opinion of what is going on with Footium and it has been really great to listen to them every other week! We were delighted to approve this grant and we are looking forward to continue to watch John’s brilliant hosting skills and innovation with his spaces!
