“No one will understand a Japanese garden until you’ve walked through one, and you hear the crunch underfoot, and you smell it, and you experience it over time. Now there’s no photograph or any movie that can give you that experience.” — J. Carter Brown

Tranquil oasis

Relax and just breathe

My daughter and I enjoyed a stroll through the Japanese Garden of Peace during a recent visit to the Texas Hill Country.

We had the garden all to ourselves and were in awe of its scenic beauty. The garden is small but pristine.

It is a beautiful place for peaceful contemplation.
