A Visit to Kennebunkport, Maine -Our Summer Vacation Continues
Volume 3-Yesterday Was an Awesome Beach Day/Today Not So Much
Welcome back. Yesterday (July 26th) was probably the best weather day we’ll have during our visit to Ogunquit/Wells in Maine.
The temperature was in the mid 80s at least, with ample sun and a light ocean breeze. No thunderstorms to chase us! We were set up on the beach at 8 AM.
Kennebunkport, Maine
After getting off the beach around 3 PM and before our late dinner reservation at 8 PM, we ran a few errands, then decided to take a quick trip up to Kennebunkport. We have been there before; a small ocean town most famous for the historic summer retreat of the Bush family, known as Walker’s Point Estate.
Although this is not open to the public, it can be viewed from a distance. We didn’t venture far North enough to see it this trip, but we stopped briefly at one of the beaches in Kennebunkport…
